- Helga is my landlady in Amargosa Valley, Nevada. She has this wonderful plot of land at the edge of the desert where we
all live with a lively assortment of animals--Tenderly, a personable quarter horse with intelligent eyes, Buddy Boy, an appolosa
with dappled markings, seven dogs, and numerous cats, including my Felix. Helga's website can give you the feel of Helgaland
and also contains the works of various friends from Germany and the United States.
